My High-tech cricket trousers are designed to meet the demands of the modern game, with many innovative comfort and performance enhancing features. They will be aimed at the gap in the higher end of the cricket trouser market where there is currently no competition which will allow me to distort the higher end of the cricket trouser market to maximise profits. They will have numerous unique selling points to that will allow me to stand out over my competitors and increase my sales. My trouser will be a luxury product aimed at the higher end of the market with a target market of consumers with a higher disposable income looking for a luxury option when purchasing cricket trousers.
How will your idea make a difference to people’s lives?
My trouser will include features that will allow my consumers to enhance their performance to their optimum performance levels by creating a comfortable trouser to decrease distractions and for the trouser to maintain a better ball shine to allow for a higher performance level by increasing the shinning ability within the legal restrictions and by reducing possible damage to the balls condition through a variety of innovative features
How long would it take to make your idea a reality?
Before I can enter my trouser onto the market I will need to first design and manufacture my trousers from a pre-existing plan, get the trouser approved by the International Cricket Council to meet the ICC Clothing and Equipment laws which I can design my trouser around, and finally sell my products through specialised retailers due to the niche market of cricket clothing and equipment. To do this it will take approximately 6 months before I can launch my product onto the market.
Do you have any concerns with making your idea happen?
My current concern with entering my product to the market is getting my product distributed through specialists cricket retailers, but feel with the investment from The Stake I will be able to design a high quality product that cricket retailers will like and will have enough funds to be able to afford to rent floor space in the retailers shops.
Why do you think you’re the right person to make this idea a success?
I feel I am the right entrepreneur to invest into due to my passion for my product, knowledge of my target market, organisation with accounts and people, and the innovative diversification ideas I have to develop my product in the future once I have established my product on the market to maintain a higher market growth and a high profit growth. I feel I have a well developed business plan that will allow me to enter my product to the market, if I receive an investment, and then develop my products each year to widen my product range and take a high percentage of the niche cricket trouser market specialising in different segments of the market to meet all my target markets need and wants in a combination of High-Tech luxury cricket trousers which I have already determined in a drawn up business plan.
