Mixing the needs of teens, community, communication within parents & hard work=discounted holidays across Europe &the UK
Top Tip...
It can be tempting to give as much detail as possible to sell your idea but sometimes too many words can be overwhelming. Win people over by making your idea easy to understand.
Iflysolo is a travel agent that will provide and aim to find the cheapest holiday packages across Europe and England for young people aged between 16-24 years old. IFlySolo will provide a support system for parents keeping them up to date with their child’s chosen holiday from the start of the booking process. Parents will be able to login and speak to one of our online operators on a daily basis should any questions arise. iFlySolo will also provide ‘holiday reps’ in addition to the parent support who will act as supervision throughout the holiday maintaining order. These mechanism’s of support shall only be used for the young people between the ages of 16-18, and young people 18+ will have the choice to opt for a holiday rep or not. Alongside this there will be a chance for young people to engage themselves in a community based workshop; from helping local charities, schools, homeless shelters and many more. A young person’s involvement in this would result in further discounts off their selected holiday or vouchers to be used in a variety of different high street retail shops. The workshops are aimed to get the teenagers of the streets and away from the likelihood of committing crimes.
It is no new news to us of the perilous times we are living in. With youth unemployment rising. Young people just don’t know what to do in their spare time; because they haven’t been giving the chance. And many as depicted in the riots earlier this year will find themselves on the streets doing whatever they find ‘interesting’. iFlySolo has realised that the good some people do within the category of 16-24year olds sometimes goes unnoticed. This reward scheme of giving back to the community through the iFlySolo workshops in order to get a discount on a holiday primarily or off your favourite high street brands has a direct impact on the lives of young people not only carrying out the duties for a community benefit but on the lives of people within the community and people in society. And this is what we as a nation are trying to strive for a better society to live in. so that such things as and Crime or Anti-social behaviour can go down.
We aim to provide work experience through our workshops. Through the iFlySolo workshops we hope to give those involved a certain level of responsibility, implementing the concept that it’s only when you work hard that can you truly appreciate the benefits. The workshops will be able to display a genuine positive attitude from the teenagers as well as an improvement within their community. Our long term goal is to create internships, placements, graduate positions and motivational workshops through iFlySolo. You want a better place? Well so do we, so help us to install this great new medium; iFlySolo.
Here at iFlySolo we believe we have all the logistics worked out and it is just about the funding which is holding us back from making this happen any sooner. If the correct funding was installed, we believe iFlySolo would take about 3-4months il it’s made into reality!
We are young and fresh. We understand one of the major problems in society and we have found a solution that with the right funding could have a massive positive impact across the whole of the UK. Being young ourselves we understand young people and how they work, we have handed out questionnaires in different universities, colleges and schools to see if this was a project that young people would be interested in. And we could not have expected better results. But there was one problem but one solution: Funding. If the stake doesn’t offer us the funding we need, the process for us will just take longer, but we are positive that we will get there, eventually.
As the people who came up with the idea it would mean a lot to us if it were a big success. We have a passion for our idea and are driven from the fear of failure. We have each been through our own individual tribulations which have only made us want to push much harder. We are always willing and open to learning new things, judging from where we were to where we are now; we believe we are definitely the right people to make our idea a success. It started off as a small dream, next into a vision and with the right tools and help along the way we can make this into a reality.
