We wish to buy facial aging software that will deter young people from smoking/drug taking.
Top Tip...
It can be tempting to give as much detail as possible to sell your idea but sometimes too many words can be overwhelming. Win people over by making your idea easy to understand.
Young people already know the dangers of smoking and it does not deter them from taking up the habit. However a grant would allow Healthkick to buy specialist computer software which ages a person’s face taking into consideration how much they smoke. This visual aid would be used at lecture events and subsequently would act as a deterrent to stop young people from smoking. Healthkick recognises that young people have a personal responsibility to ensure that they lead healthy and productive lives. Our services ensure that secondary schools students across the country have access to a wide range of educational health resources. Healthkick was formed by young people, for young people.
The stake would be used to purchase specialist software and equipment that would allow us to hold practical workshops and lectures throughout the community. Healthkick could make money from the equipment as copies of the aged-faces could be sold to consumers, whilst our equipment could be hired by schools and businesses alike.
By encouraging young people to lead healthy lives we will ensure that they are prepared for their future. From an improvement to our website to holding lectures throughout the South-East, Our services will ensure that students across the country have access to a wide range of educational health resources. In the words of Sir Winston Churchill; “Healthy Citizens are the greatest asset that any country can have”
Our services could cut the number of people becoming reliant upon the NHS, during these times of financial cutbacks.
From the moment that any money enters our bank account, we can order the equipment and get out holding lectures immediately. At the age of 14 I formed Healthkick as a not-for-profit company and hopefully a capital investment will see our services grow.
I have no concerns at all that this project is going to be a great success!
I consider myself as a motivated, responsible and mature individual that is prepared to adapt to a variety of workplace situations. I have strong organisational and communication skills developed through the founding and leading of a not-for-profit company that offers a free health service for young people within the community.
Throughout my education I have successfully combined my studies with work and other commitments showing myself to be self-motivated, organised and capable of working under pressure. I have a clear, logical mind with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a drive to complete projects and duties alike. I enjoy working independently or in a team. My leadership skills give me the qualities to become a good team player. In short, I am friendly, trustworthy, hard-working and eager to learn. I am especially interested in business, law and politics.
I consider myself well involved within my local community and in 2010 I was awarded “The Pride of Gravesham Award for Making a Positive Contribution to the Lives of Young People”. Being a young business owner, I have developed a variety of skills and worked with a variety of titled people from the community.
I have already formed my own company. I did not form the company based upon the idea of gaining money, but on the inspiration of my late grandfather. At 38 years old, my grandfather had his first heart attack. From that day he encouraged others to improve their lifestyles (in order to prevent Heart Disease), although he died in 2007. He’s my inspiration.
I believe that with my passion to make a change Healthkick could soon have key significance to the lives of young people throughout the United Kingdom.
